 Job Overview
  • Plan and carry out audit assignments to a wide variety of clients
  • Ensure the audit team are on track and completing audit work within the allocated timetable
  • Communicate to the clients on a regular basis on the progress of the audit and meet with them to discuss audit related matters
  • Advice clients on areas of business improvements
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge in all areas
  • Accounts preparation for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships. Along with being responsible for discussing the results with the clients either in person or over the phone.
  • Involvement in statutory audits, including being involved in planning the audit, leading the audit fieldwork and completion of files for manager review.
 Requirements:
  • Suitable candidates will be fully ACCA/ACA qualified – ideally
  • Experience carrying out audits - from planning through to completion
  • Previous experience working in accountancy practice environments is essential
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Driving license required in order to travel to clients' premises
  • Preparation of corporation tax and personal tax returns.
  • Preparation and review of VAT returns.
