We are looking for an experienced L&D Manager who can establish and implement a Learning and Development strategy to deliver a consistent, forward-thinking approach to developing talent across the organisation, that recognises the dynamic and diverse nature of colleague responsibilities.

Description

What you'll be responsible for:

Ø Implementing the Learning strategy. Be accountable to work with leaders for each function to deliver this into their respective areas.

Ø Measure implementation of strategy to performance of business functions assessing contribution of development of colleagues.

Ø Manage Learning policy and process across the business. Support colleagues with queries.

Ø Manage and administer the Learning Management System (LMS) to identify, share and evaluate relevant learning to all colleagues.

Ø Evaluate effectiveness of learning delivered, using reporting metrics in LMS.

Ø Prepare and deliver evaluation reporting to inform decision-making and continuous improvements aligned to Learning strategy.

Ø Analyse and assess needs of business functions. Build and implement learning pathways growing capabilities across colleagues.

Ø Design technical and skills-based learning content using different media prioritising accessibility and expertise in each function.

Ø Maintaining Train the Trainer approach and resources.

Ø Build coaching and mentoring approach.

Ø Establish and manage external supplier relationships.

Ø Manage internal stakeholder relationships with People team, leadership and subject matter experts.

Profile

The successful L&D Manager should have:

Ø Career drive: Keen to stretch into a leadership role, with strategic oversight of the Learning function. You must be comfortable working in standalone position with collaborative support from wider People team.

Ø Learning professionalism: Experience designing and delivering impactful technical, compliance, and capability-based learning pathways, with a strong grasp of adult learning principles.

Ø Coaching and mentoring: Skilled in coaching, evaluating, and enhancing others' skills. Implementing mentoring and work-based learning through observation and feedback.

Ø Organisational experience: Background in corporate learning within regionally diverse and dynamic organisation, balancing operational and functional priorities effectively.

Ø Exceptional project and communication skills: Adept in managing projects, facilitating sessions, and engaging diverse audiences.

Ø Relationship manager: Managing stakeholder relationships both inside the organisation and externally with suppliers, professional bodies.

Ø Tech-Savvy: Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and leveraging digital tools for learning excellence. Practical knowledge of managing and administering LMS system.
