Job Advert: Cleaner

Please note possession of an Enhanced DBS certificate is essential to apply for this role.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and efficient Cleaner to join our client's team in Widnes. This is a short-term cover position, Monday to Friday, from 3pm to 6pm, with an immediate start required. Although the initial contract is short-term, there may be potential longer-term opportunities with our client.

Responsibilities:

Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
Maintain cleanliness in classrooms, corridors, offices, and communal areas.
Empty and sanitise waste bins and replace bin bags as required.
Clean and disinfect bathrooms and replenish toiletries as needed.
Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure compliance at all times.

Requirements:

Possession of an Enhanced DBS certificate
Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential.
Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing time effectively to complete tasks within set timeframes.
A strong attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
A positive attitude towards teamwork.
