Electrical Maintenance Engineer (4 on 4 off shift)

Alecto Recruitment are working with a market leader in the Anaerobic Digestion sector who is actively looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer at their site in Widnes.
This position requires working on a 4 on 4 off 12 hour shift pattern of days and nights (4 Days 4 Off, 4 Nights, 4 Off).
Package:
* 14 shifts holiday per annum increasing over length of service.

Responsibilities:
As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer your duties and responsibilities will vary but will include:
* Carrying out day to day maintenance of all plant and machinery.
* Working under Health & Safety guidelines.
* Carrying out routine electrical maintenance and repairs according to planned maintenance schedules, including the completion of risk assessments.
* Carrying out electrical maintenance on PPM system.
* Diagnosing and resolving electrical issues
* Provide production support within the shift team and provide shift cover when required.
* Completing department daily work record sheets.
* Assisting other mechanical / operational departments when required.
The Person
* Ideally have experience of an Anaerobic Digestion facility or related experience.
* You must have served a recognised Electrical Apprenticeship.
* Have extensive Electrical experience working in a continuous process environment.
* Have proven experience with fault finding, including troubleshooting and solving problems.
* Be familiar with general factory maintenance practices.
* Be conversant with basic PLC logic and inverter drives.
* Be able to work using your own initiative.
* Be able to work on your own or as part of a team.
* Be able to communicate well at all levels.
