Plant Operator - Block PlantLocation: WidnesSalary: £32,878 per yearHours: 40 hours per week (potential to work up to 48 hours when needed)Shifts: Rotating weekly - 06:00-14:00 & 14:00-22:00
We’re looking for a Plant Operator to join our team! If you’re hardworking, a team player, and have experience in a manufacturing or production environment, we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Operating sections of the production line, ensuring smooth running and quality control
- Carrying out observations, tests, and assessments to maintain product standards
- Removing and replacing sub-standard products
- Replenishing packaging materials
- Performing minor maintenance tasks
- Cleaning down equipment at the end of production
- Completing basic paperwork (quality control forms, production records, etc.)
What We’re Looking For:
- A good team player with strong communication skills
- A keen work ethic and attention to detail
- A current FLT licence (beneficial but not essential)
- Physically fit, as the role involves manual handling, working at heights, and using hand tools
- Willingness to wear PPE, including respiratory protective equipment when required
- Basic numeracy and legible handwriting for documentation
