FP&A Analyst

We are looking for a commercially driven FP&A Analyst to join our client within a fast-paced, forward-thinking organisation. In this role, you'll report to the Global FP&A Director and work closely with sales and commercial teams. Your mission? To deliver impactful insights, influence key decisions, and drive business growth. This role is ideal for an ACCA/CIMA studier looking to complete their studies and gain further exposure and the chance to really make a difference within a successful business that is not only a leader within their industry but is one that will offer you the chance to really show case your experience.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Business Partnering - Partner with sales and commercial teams to boost margins, manage risks, and unlock growth opportunities. Building trust and foster collaboration with stakeholders as a financial advisor.
  • Conduct weekly updates and analyse 3-month rolling forecasts to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Perform detailed variance analysis, offering actionable insights that empower stakeholders.
  • Break down complex financial data into practical recommendations that align with business goals.
  • Analyse monthly performance and provide strategic guidance for commercial teams.
  • Design and deliver leadership-level reports that communicate key insights clearly and effectively.
  • Develop concise, meaningful reports from large datasets to guide business strategies.
  • Identify and propose innovative reporting or analysis methods to accelerate business growth.
  • Take ownership of ad-hoc tasks supporting the FP&A Director and broader FP&A objectives.
  • Support the annual budget process, ensuring robust planning and execution.

  • Qualifications & Experience:
    • AAT qualified or actively studying CIMA/ACCA (they'll support your professional development).
    • Proven analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide commercial insights.
  • Key Skills:
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders.
    • Advanced Excel skills with a knack for data visualisation and reporting.
    • Ability to prioritise, take initiative, and manage your workload in a fast-paced environment.
