Description
The main responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Manager are:
- Oversee the entire accounts payable department, ensuring efficient and accurate reporting.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and handle payment queries.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and company policies.
- Develop and implement processes to improve the efficiency of the accounts payable function.
- Collaborate with other finance departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing support to the team.
- Manage the month-end closing process for accounts payable.
- Prepare and present regular reports on accounts payable performance to senior management.
Profile
A successful Account Payable Manager should have:
- A strong background within Accounts Payable
- Proven experience in a managerial role within Accounts Payable.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounts payable processes.
