Role - CFO Location - Widnes Salary - Between £120,000 and £150,000 + benefits inclusive of exit bonusMarks Sattin are currently recruiting for a fast-growing and highly profitable on-line retail organisation in their search for a CFO to work out of their office based near Widnes.The successful candidate will need to be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified and will have ideally worked for a private equity backed business. Strong technical accounting skills are absolutely essential and any experience of taking a business through a sale process would be a distinct advantage. The ability to influence the board and bring key financial insight into key strategic decisions will be absolutely crucial. Excellent staff management skills are a must as is the ability to work to tight deadlines. Key duties for the CFO role will involve:

  • Lead on budgeting and forecasting process
  • Ensure month end and year end reporting is done timely and accurately
  • Build relationships with banks, auditors etc.
  • Cash-flow management
  • Assist with the strategy of the business moving forward.
  • Provide financial assistance and due diligence with any potential acquisitions
  • Assist with the sale process of the organisation
  • Management of a small finance team

Salary for the role is anywhere between £120,000 and £150,000 + benefits inclusive of exit bonusThis is a fantastic opportunity for an established CFO that is keen to be a key member of a board and has been through a successful exit process previously.
