The Role

As an Assistant Hire Desk Controller, you'll be supporting the day-to-day operations of the hire desk, helping to manage equipment hire requests and ensuring top-notch service is delivered to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in processing incoming hire enquiries via phone and email
  • Support the Hire Desk Controller in scheduling deliveries and collections
  • Help maintain accurate records of equipment hire and availability
  • Liaise with internal teams, including transport and yard staff
  • Help resolve customer queries and ensure excellent service is provided
  • Perform general administrative duties related to hire operations
  • Monitor stock levels and flag any shortages to the team
