The Position

Applications are invited for a CAT 1 SHEP Operative at our SecAnim Ltd, Widnes site. This is a full time, permanent position, working 12-hour shifts, on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (days and nights).

As a SHEP Operative your duties and responsibilities will vary based on the Company’s requirements but will include:

  • To ensure that all relevant Health and Safety Regulations are followed at all times.
  • Control and operate basic plant and equipment as efficiently and safely as possible to defined quality specification.
  • Report and investigate deviations from normal operating conditions and be able to deal with basic production.
  • Complete any necessary paperwork.

The Person

  • Must be able to prioritise the workload.
  • Have excellent communication skills.
  • Be able to work carefully and methodically and have the ability to concentrate for long periods during repetitive work.
  • Be flexible with working hours.
  • Be able to self-motivate and work well in a team.
  • Previous experience within a similar role would be advantageous although training will be provided where necessary.
