Description
As the HR Advisor, you will report to the MD and take responsibility for the following areas:
- Implement and maintain HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process to ensure a seamless experience.
- Support current and future business needs through employee engagement and development.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- support on all Employee Relations issues, up to and including dismissal
- Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements.
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
- Promote a positive and open work environment where employees feel comfortable speaking up about issues.
Profile
The successful HR Advisor should have:
- CIPD, Ideally level 5
- Proven experience as an HR Advisor, HR Consultant or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HR functions and best practices.
- Excellent understanding of labour laws and disciplinary procedure
- Demonstrable experience of supporting and leading on complex ER issues.
- Proficient in MS Office; HRIS systems knowledge is a plus.
- Outstanding organisational and time-management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Aptitude in problem-solving and conflict resolution.
