Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, an engineering company in their search for a Manual Machinist to work at their facility in Widnes.
For the successful Manual Machinist, our client is offering:
- Up to £20 per hour (DOE)
- Up to £41,600 per annum (DOE)
- Monday to Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm
- Overtime paid at x1.5 & x2 rates
- Permanent Opportunity
- 20 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
- Pension scheme
The role - Manual Machinist :
- Operating conventional and manual machinery to manufacture, repair, and modify industrial rotary equipment
- Setting and operating a Conventional / manual machinery
- Machining various components
- Tool changing
- Reading and working from engineering drawings
- Conducting quality inspections
What our client is looking for in a Manual Machinist
- HNC/NVQ/City and Guilds in Engineering or equivalent BENEFICIAL
- Previous experience in a similar role ESSENTIAL
- Must be fully trained in the use of conventional / manual machines. ESSENTIAL
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
- Experience in rotary equipment repairs i.e. gearboxes, pumps, fans, motors etc or fabrication BENEFICIAL
