Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturing company, in their search for a Production Planner to work in their manufacturing facility near Widnes

What our client is offering for the successful Production Planner:

  • Salary: Up to £34,000 per annum
  • Working hours, 37.5 per week (Monday to Friday)

The Role - Production Planner:

  • Review mains orders when they are received and set a shipping date
  • Plan production schedules for various manufacturing departments
  • Release Manufacturing orders in MRP system and review any requirements to manufacture parts in-house
  • Notify Production Engineer or purchasing of any raw material requirements
  • Use of in-house MRP system
  • Use of Excel for production plans and tracking of orders
  • Review and liaise with purchasing on the purchase order book
  • Inform Commercial Team of any delays to final contract shipping date.
  • Manage min/max stock levels
  • Daily communication with Manufacturing Engineering and Team leaders of relevant Production departments
  • Attend and update in daily production meetings

What our client is looking for in the successful Production Planner:

  • Previous experience in a similar production planning based role - ESSENTIAL
  • Experience using MRP systems - ESSENTIAL
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel - ESSENTIAL
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Must be an effective communicator
  • Well organised with excellent attention to detail
