Due to company growth and increase in workloadwe are looking for anexperienced Pump Fitter to join a leading business based near Widnes. This role provides the opportunity work for a leading international business on a range of pump systems.
The successful candidate MUST have demonstrable experience working in a similar role overhauling rotating equipment in a workshop environment to be considered for this role.
Candidates must also be time served in a Mechanical discipline.
Hours 37.5 hours per week.
OT and extra payments with this role realistic earnings in this role of £60k
Role Description
- Installation, removal and overhaul of Pumps.
- Strip down and report condition ofrotating equipment prior to repair
- Advise and recommend corrective actions.
- Carry out Risk Assessments and Permits to work
- Working closely with other team members to ensure all work is carried out in a timely manner and to the required quality standard.
Skills / Qualifications
- Candidates will ideally be time served in a Mechanical Discipline
- Demonstrable experience in overhaul of Rotating Equipment Pumps/ Turbines/ Motors
- Ability to accurately read, review and interpret manufacturing designs, drawing and schematics
- Experienced in carrying out risk assessments and permits to work.
- Confident working under your own supervision
