We are currently recruiting an experienced EYFS Teacher for a long-term contract in Widnes starting in January 2025. The role is to cover maternity leave and will be for two terms.The school is welcoming applications from ECT's and experienced teachers.Your new company

You will be working in a large two-form entry Primary School located just outside Widnes town centre where you will join an experienced and welcoming teaching and leadership team who pride themselves on creating an engaging and safe environment for children to flourish and achieve their goals.

Your new role

As an EYFS Teacher in a long-term teaching position, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons that meet the needs and interests of your pupils. You will also work closely with your colleagues and the senior leadership team to ensure high standards of teaching and learning across the school. You will have access to excellent resources and facilities, as well as ongoing professional development and support.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this role you will need to have:

  • Qualified teacher status.
  • An in depth knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
  • Satisfactory references
  • An up to date DBS or willingness to get one.
  • The ability to provide an inspiring, engaging and safe learning environment.
