Randstad Education is actively searching for a Year 1 Teachers to work in the Widnes area. The successful candidate will work in an established Primary school which is well known throughout the area for its school wide community, passionate staff and leading SLT. This role will be a temporary to permanent position for the right candidate. The will require you to commit to leading and nurturing a Year 1 cohort for the Spring and Summer term so they can progress seamlessly to Year 2.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and prepare daily activities, materials, and lessons in accordance with the curriculum.

* Ensure the safeguarding of all pupils.

* Monitor and record students' progress and development.

* Collaborate with parents and carers regarding their children's development.

* Uphold the school's values and ethos.

* Attend faculty meetings.

Essential Requirements:

* Relevant qualifications (PGCE, QTS, etc.).

* In-depth knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum.

* Classroom experience. * Minimum of two references covering two years.

* Passion for teaching and a commitment to student achievement.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to work as part of a team.

* Ability to work flexibly across all year groups.
