A well-established and supportive primary school in Widnes (WA8) is seeking a dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join their team from April to December. Your Role- Engaging Lessons: Plan and deliver creative, interactive lessons tailored to Year 1 students.
- Fostering Confidence: Inspire curiosity and build confidence in young learners.
- Student Development: Assess and track progress to support both academic and social growth.
- Collaborative Learning: Work alongside teaching assistants and staff to maintain a structured, positive classroom environment.
- Parent Communication: Build strong relationships with parents and caregivers to support student progress.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience in Key Stage 1, particularly Year 1, is preferred.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Two references from the last five years, including one safeguarding reference.
