Year 1 Teacher - WA8, Widnes (April to December)

Location: WA8, Widnes

A well-established and supportive primary school in Widnes (WA8) is seeking a dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join their team from April to December. The school is committed to creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment, ensuring every child receives the best possible start to their education. Your Role
  • Engaging Lessons: Plan and deliver creative, interactive lessons tailored to Year 1 students.

  • Collaborative Learning: Work alongside teaching assistants and staff to maintain a structured, positive classroom environment.

Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Experience in Key Stage 1, particularly Year 1, is preferred.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • A DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Two references from the last five years, including one safeguarding reference.
