I am pleased to be working with a market-leading Widnes-based client within the construction industry, who are actively seeking an experienced Receptionist to join their team. They are recruiting for this position on a full-time, permanent basis.

Role Purpose:

The successful candidate will be the first point of in-person contact at the site. They will be responsible for meeting and greeting visitors, whether they be clients or trade visitors. The candidate will be required to monitor incoming and outgoing emails and phone calls, directing them as necessary.

Benefits:

  • Salary - £24,000 to £25,000
  • Working Hours - Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm
  • Holidays - 22 per year plus bank holidays, rising to 27 with each year service to a max of 27 days.

Responsibilities:

  • Be the first point of in-person contact on site, providing excellent customer service
  • Meeting and greeting visitors
  • Dealing with incoming calls and emails, directing them as necessary in a timely manner
  • Responding to email requests for proof of delivery
  • Updating the ERP system with receipt of inward raw material goods
  • Resolving issues discrepancies with orders/received goods where necessary

Specification:

  • Previous Receptionist experience is essential
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office including Excel
  • An excellent communicator, both written and verbally
  • Able to display a high level of professionalism and customer service at all times
