Job Title: Audio Typist / Administrator

Location: The Bridges Learning Centre - Crow Wood Lane, Widnes, WA8 3LZ

Hours: 37.5 per week Monday - Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm

Trust Location: Bridgewater Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust

Role type: Temporary for 3 months with possibility of extension

What you'll be responsible for:

To provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the community clinics and associated health professionals. The candidate must have excellent communication skills to support work with colleagues/parent/carers/partner agencies to promote professionalism for the service.

Audio typing duties

Be part of a central booking system to have an efficient approach to appointment management including the cancelation and rearranging of appointments. Redirecting calls to other services as required. Sending, receiving, and managing e-mails, tasks, texts, and telephone enquiries. Retrieving and managing referrals, creating patient records, opening new referrals

The management of the patient booking system to include building of clinic sessions, management of waiting lists, breaches, and data cleansing

Be responsible for maintaining, developing, and managing all aspects of secretarial support clinically and/or administrative

This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience.

You'll learn the following whilst working at the trust:

1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS

2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times

3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

You'll have the following skills/experience:

Audio typing experience (essential)

NHS experience is highly desirable

Knowledge Microsoft office suite

Enthusiastic, confident approach to change, calm and reliable under pressure

Polite and courteous telephone manner
