Venn Group would like to introduce the following Recovery Worker position available

Position:          Opiate Recovery Coordinator  

Location:         Widnes, Liverpool 

Length:            10 weeks on going

Hours:             37.5 hours p/week - Mon – Fri, no weekend working

Rate:               Negotiable depending on experience   

The role will predominantly involve:

  • Supporting high caseload of 55 service users recovering from drug/alcohol addictions from point of entry into the service and through their treatment/recovery journey
  • Supporting service users from point of entry into the service and through their treatment/recovery journey 
  • Providing screening, assessment, and recovery planning and onward referral 
  • Reducing drug and alcohol related harm to service users and the wider community 
  • Promoting carer, service user and community involvement 
  • Providing advocacy for access to partnership services 
  • Deliver structured content within group settings to service users at various stages of recovery 
  • Office based role

The successful candidate must have Opiate recovery work experience or similar and worked in a similar role to be considered for this position, must also have an Enhanced DBS certificate and be available to start from the first week of January 2025
