Role: Pastoral Support Worker Type: Temporary, Full Time (4 weeks at least) Rate of pay £20 per hour Location: Halton Eden Brown are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pastoral Support Worker on behalf of a leading Sixth form in the Halton area. This is a temporary full-time position, covering a period of at least one month due to sickness. As a Pastoral Support Worker, you will play a key role in providing personalised support to students, ensuring their well-being and academic success throughout their college journey. Key Responsibilities: * Offer one-on-one pastoral support to students, addressing their emotional, social, and academic needs. * Monitor and track student's attendance, behaviour, and overall progress, offering guidance and intervention where necessary. * Liaise with staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure that students receive the support they need. * Provide a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for all learners. Ideal Candidate: * Previous experience in pastoral support, education, or related roles. * A qualification in counselling, advice and guidance, or a related field would be an advantage. * Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff. * A proactive, empathetic approach to supporting students.
