Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support for a Key Stage 1 child with autism
  • Assist the child in developing confidence and social skills
  • Support the child with daily school activities and routines
  • Foster a nurturing and patient environment to facilitate learning

Candidate Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience working with children with autism
  • Patience, empathy, and a nurturing disposition
  • Ability to commit to consistent hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday during term time
  • A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable and an advantage, but not essential
