Your new company
Hays Recruitment are proud to be supporting a Widnes-based primary school that is easily accessible via public transport as they require a motivated and reliable teaching assistant to support several pupils with SEN across the EYFS and Year 1 classes. This is a long-term full-time contract with an immediate start available.

Your new role
In your new role as a teaching assistant at this school, you will be supporting the EYFS class in the morning and year 1 in the afternoon. Over the morning, you will be supporting two pupils with SEN on a 1:1 basis. Both pupils are on EHCP's and have a diagnosis of ASD. Over an afternoon, you will integrate into the year 1 classes, offering general classroom and behaviour management as well as completing interventions and boosters on a 1:1 and small group basis.
