We are currently working with a large two-form entry Primary School in Widnes to recruit an experienced SEN teacher to work in their EYFS & KS1 Resource Base. The school are looking for a passionate and engaging EYFS/KS1 to join the team on a long-term basis. The role is ongoing for the rest of the academic year and will be working on Thursday and Friday's.The school are welcoming applications from ECT's and experienced teachersYour new roleAs a teacher wroking in a resource provision you will work closely with the school SENCO to support EYFS & KS1 aged pupils access a bespoke and engaging lessons tailored to their learning needs.*Planning and delivering engaging activities that promote children's development across all areas (physical, social, emotional, and cognitive)* Creating a safe and stimulating learning environment* Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues* Assessing and tracking children's progress* Collaborating with other staff members to enhance the overall nursery experience What you'll need to succeedTo be considered for this role you will need to have:

  • Qualified teacher status.
  • An in depth knowledge of the EYFS & KS1 curriculum.
  • Experience using delivering phonics interventions.
  • Experience supporting children with SEN
  • An up to date DBS or willingness to get one.
  • The ability to provide an inspiring, engaging and safe learning environment.
