Role: Sports Coach/Tutor/Technician Location: Widnes Employment Type: Temp, 4 or 5 days Hourly rate: £20-£25 per hour Eden Brown are looking to recruit a Sports Coach/Tutor/Technician on behalf of a leading further education college. As a Sports Coach/Tutor/Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality coaching, mentoring, and technical instruction to students on various sports courses. You will also provide valuable support to our sports facilities, ensuring that equipment and resources are maintained to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities: * Deliver engaging and effective pastoral sports coaching across a range of disciplines and levels. * Support students in developing their skills and understanding of sports, from beginners to advanced levels. * Create a positive and inclusive learning environment, fostering both physical and personal development. * Maintain sports equipment, ensuring everything is safe, functional, and properly organises. * Provide academic and practical support to students in related courses. Organise and support extracurricular sporting events, competitions, and enrichment activities. Essential Skills and Qualifications: * A passion for sports with experience in coaching and mentoring. * Relevant qualifications in sports coaching, physical education, or related fields. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. * Ability to motivate and inspire students, helping them achieve their full potential. Beneficial experience: * Experience working in a further education or school setting. * Additional coaching certifications or experience in specific sports. * Knowledge of sports science, performance analysis, or sports psychology.
