Our client is an engineering manufacturing business in Runcorn, they are well established and growing rapidly. You will oversee the procurement of a range of bespoke engineering products.

Your Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality and reliability
- Identify, evaluate and establish relationships with suppliers
- Negotiate contracts, terms and conditions
- Control inventory to optimise supply chain
- Identify opportunities to reduce cost
- Ensure all procured items are in line with the relevant quality standards
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment
- 5 years of experience in a similar role within procurement, buying, purchasing, supply chain management etc.
- Living commutable to Runcorn, you could like in Liverpool, Chester, Warrington, Widnes, Lymm, Northwich, Ellesmere Port, Knutsford, Winsford etc.
