Our client is a long-established Engineering Business that design, manufacture and install fabrications into a variety of sectors across the UK.

Manufacturing from a workshop in Widnes and predominately a site in the centre of Warrington, you would be required to be flexible in your working location.

Due to continued growth and expansion, they are now urgently looking for an experienced TIG Welder to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and be able to work independently and efficiently.

The successful candidate will be an experienced TIG Welder, welding Stainless and Mild Steel. You will also be required to troubleshoot any issues, think on your feet, while upstanding and representing the business in the eyes of the customer.

Responsibilities:

Read and interpret drawings and specifications.

Fabricate using a variety of materials including, but not limited too Mild steel and StainlessSteel

At least 3 years experience TIG welding

Use a variety of hand tools and power tools to assemble components.

Inspect parts for accuracy and defects.

Follow safety procedures when using tools and equipment.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Assemble parts according to specifications.

Essential Requirements:

NVQ City and guilds Level 3 in Welding

Ability to TIG weld
