Accountant - Wigan - Permanent - upto £30k (DOE)

We are excited to be working with our leading client who are specialist in their field and offer proactive and high quality service. They have a range of clients and are seeking a skilled Accountant to join their close-knit team in offering a high level of service. You will be a minimum of AAT level 3/4 qualified and have a strong understanding of practice accounting, bookkeeping and payroll.

Duties will include:

  • Preparing of accounts for a variety of owners - managed limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
  • Preparing and completing of personal and corporation tax computations with precision
  • Weekly and monthly bookkeeping for a varied range of clients
  • Preparing and submitting of VAT returns
  • Managing client relationship and collecting information to prepare accounts

Hours of work:

  • Monday to Thursday (9:00am - 5:00pm)
  • Friday (9:00am - 4:00pm)

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of using Sage, Xero and Quickbooks. Will be able to deliver an effective service to clients and have strong commination skills.
