Accounts Assistant | £26,000 - £30,000 | Wigan | High-growth SME | End-to-end exposureAxon Moore delighted to be partnering with a high-growth SME in Wigan to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant able to take the lead with all things transactional finance in a permanent, office-based role boasting a tremendous working culture.Key Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Processing purchase invoices
  • Supplier statement reconciliation
  • Payment runs
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Bank postings
  • Month end journals
  • Ownership of company credit card and petty cash
  • Sales ledger cover i.e. cash counting, receipting, etc.
  • Support with direct debit process
  • Resolving queries and inbox management
Required Experience and Skills:
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and able to take ownership of their role
  • Good IT and MS Excel skills
  • Hard-working, self-motivated and driven by success
