JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Title: Tackling Inactivity and Enrichment Coordinator

Responsible to: Head of Studies

The role, the person:

This role is a fantastic opportunity to join a high performing team who are dedicated to making our Students' experience enriching, enjoyable and aspirational during their time with us. You will work alongside colleagues across all areas of the organisation, strengthen existing partnerships externally and create new connections able to further enhance the Student experience.

You will be outgoing and energetic, have a 'can-do' personality, thrive on the motivation of others and be wholly people centred with a thirst to create an atmosphere of excitement for our Student body. You will be pro-active in your communication with Students, colleagues and externals to ensure maximum engagement and impact in all you do.

The postholder will be expected to:

Plan, lead and deliver the college's offer of enrichment and enhancement across the organisation to further develop our schedule of accessible activities for all. You will monitor and evaluate all activities, measuring engagement and demonstrable impact to inform a responsive, evidence-based trajectory of improvement.

Be one of the main contacts for all projects both internally and for external partners involved in the delivery of activities across all campuses.

Design, promote and implement systems which enable clear and accessible routes for Student engagement whether directly through the Student body, or through colleagues on their behalf.

Be responsible for strong communication with the Head of Studies and cross-college colleagues, ensuring all enrichment and enhancement is delivered on time, within budget and professionally driven at all times.

Duties

  1. Student Liaison and the Planning and Delivery of Activities

To lead and deliver a schedule of clear communications with our Student body to help identify areas in which to develop impactful and accessible enrichment and enhancement activities. This will include engagement and collaboration with our Student Leadership body.

To inspire, encourage and support Students into regular activities to promote physical, emotional and psychological wellbeing using a variety of techniques.

To plan, confirm and implement a clear yet dynamic schedule of activities across all levels, at all campuses throughout academic year, encompassing a wide range of experiences which are demonstrably impactful.

  1. Monitoring and Evaluation

To collect and analyse data through feedback and attendance statistics and a confident ability to present findings to the Head of Studies and members of the Executive team where required.

To promote the physical, emotional and psychological benefits of participating in enrichment and enhancement activities at all levels of participation.

Qualifications

Essential: GCSE math and English grade 4 / C or above or recognised equivalent.

Desirable: Qualification in either sport, exercise, project management or another relevant subject.

Knowledge

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 including creating and sharing documents across the organisation with effective use of digital formats generally.

Knowledge of effectively planning, implementing and monitoring the impact of all activities using a variety of data sources.

Competencies

Confident ability to present data to demonstrate effective implementation and impact of activities.

Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across all areas of the organisation and with external partners with an ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

An understanding of budgets and an ability to manage and monitor expenditure to maximise impact of available budget.

Other Requirements

Able to travel as necessary to fulfil the duties of the post and a willingness to work flexibly and outside of normal office hours; evenings, weekends and occasionally at bank holidays.

You may be required to undertake such other duties, commensurate with your grade and hours of work, as may reasonably be required.

You may be required to work at or from any building, location or premises of the College, and any other establishment where we conducts its business.
