Hunter Gatherer AHP have a brilliant opportunity in Wigan. The NHS service in question are looking for a Mammographer to join on a fulltime locum basis, 6-month contract! This is a fantastic chance to join an excellent Breast Imaging Service so advanced breast practitioners who are commutable to Wigan are strongly advised to apply! Suitable candidates require a postgraduate certificate in Mammography as well as a postgraduate module in X-Ray Guided Breast Interventional Biopsy.
The post holder will be expected to provide intervention cover in breast assessment and breast symptomatic clinics to perform 14G breast biopsies, 10G VAB and localisation procedures such as magseeds/hook wire procedures. Working hours are 8:30am - 5pm w/ 1 hour break (7.5 working hours per day).
