Job Description
We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our clients team and perform both electrical and mechanical breakdown maintenance, as well as planned preventative maintenance on a wide range of machinery within a well established intralogistics site. This includes wrappers, pallet conveyors, packaging machinery, pallet stacker cranes and ASRS systems.
As a key member of the maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of site and systems, contributing to overall operational efficiency.

This is a rotating shift based role working hours between 6am and 10pm.
Key Responsibilities:

Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance: Perform both electrical and mechanical breakdown and planned preventative maintenance on a variety of automated machinery, including wrappers, conveyors, packaging machinery, pallet stacker cranes and ASRS systems.

Scheduled Repairs: Undertake repairs in line with manufacturers’ recommendations and industry-standard practices, ensuring systems are restored to full functionality as quickly as possible.

Fault Prioritisation: Effectively prioritise and address system faults, minimising downtime and ensuring high-quality output.

Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of output is maintained at all times, troubleshooting issues to ensure operational standards are consistently met.

Accurate Record-Keeping: Accurately document all work carried out, including breakdowns, repairs, parts replaced, and any other relevant information.

Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for enhancing system reliability, performance, and efficiency.

Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to all relevant Health & Safety regulations at all times, ensuring safe working practices, particularly when working at heights.
Qualifications

NVQ LVL 3 in an Engineering discipline or equivalent
