Electrical Installation Engineer
Based in Northwest with travel UK wide
Site based work for 3 weeks at a time – All accommodation and travel expenses paid whilst on site
10 hrs a day for site work (65-70 hours per week)
Rest of work will be based in the factory near Wigan
3-month contract (likelihood of extension)
Rates: £24.00p/h - £27.00p/h – Ltd Company (Outside IR35)

This well-established company with a wide range of key world-renowned clients have recently won several exciting projects for the assembly, installation and commissioning of FMCG equipment. As a result, this company are looking for several contract Electrical Installation Engineers for a minimum 3-month contract, with the opportunity for that to be extended. You will be involved in the electrical installation of FMCG equipment predominantly conveyor systems for the food & beverage industries. As a skilled Electrical Installation Engineer, you will require to conduct the following duties:
- On site installation of electrical systems and components for mechanical equipment predominantly conveyors
- Working from electrical engineering drawings
- Working closely with panel builders and draughtsman
- Ability to get involved in any mechanical installation where necessary
- 10 hrs a day for site work (65-70 hours per week)
- Rest of work will be based in the factory near Wigan
The successful Electrical Installation Engineer will need to have the following attributes:
- Highly experienced in electrical installation ideally within the FMCG industry
- Hands on experience in installing a wide range of electrical components such as drives & motors
- Ability to read electrical engineering drawings
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (preferable)
- Adept at working on your own initiative.
- Work as part of a team
- High work ethic
- Must be willing to travel and stay away from home for up to 3 weeks at a time.
The benefits of this position:
- Outside IR35 – Limited co. contractors
- Up to 70 hours p/w on site
- Day shifts working Monday to Friday with Overtime available
