Michael Page are recruiting for an Accounts Payable Clerk on behalf of a market leading tech business based in Tyldesley.

The purpose of this role is to provide end to end support for the accounts payable function and ensuring the timely and accurate payment of invoices.

The business is seeking ambitious professionals who can progress with the business and work alongside their well established teams.

Description

Accounts Payable Clerk duties include:

  • Match and process high volumes of invoices and credit notes to purchase orders.
  • Having a proactive approach to resolve supplier, invoicing, and PO queries.
  • Performance of regular supplier statement reconciliations
  • Working with Transactional Finance Manager to resolve more complex vendor account issues.
  • To contribute to continuous improvement of procedures to improve efficiency of the function and the department through the development of relationships with own team members and other departments.
  • To monitor own progress towards business and individual objectives.
  • Assist the Transactional Finance Manager with any ad-hoc duties.

Profile

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a proven track record in a similar role
  • Be studying AAT or qualified by experience
  • Be proficient in MS Office including MS Excel
  • Be an excellent written and verbal communicator
  • Be able to work to tight deadlines
  • Have a high level of attention to detail
