Our exclusive client based in Wigan is currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their busy team for approx 2.5 days per week.
The duties of the role:
- Purchase ledger including processing invoices and dealing with supplier queries
- Bank and supplier reconciliations
- Assisting with the payment runs on a weekly and monthly basis
- Sales ledger duties including raising invoices and applying for payments
- Bank reconciliations
- Dealing with subcontractors (CIS Scheme) and VAT
- Supporting the finance manager with any transactional duties needed
This is a very varied role and would suit someone from a similar background. Someone who has worked within the construction industry would be ideal but it isn’t essential as there will be on the job training.
