My client is a leading Resin and Polymers manufacturer based in Wigan that supply products to a range of industries globally. They are looking to employ a Production Operator to bolster their nights team. The ideal candidate will have production experience, ideally some exposure to either the chemical or plastics sector and be base within a commutable distance of Wigan
This position is night shift exclusively, please only apply if you are happy working from 6pm to 6am, Friday to Sunday.
Production Operator - Job Overview
- Ensuring process and operational activities are carried out in compliance with SHEQ requirements
- Manufacturing products in accordance with formulation Batch instructions and specification
- Making accurate additions or adjustments to the manufacturing process
- Completing necessary documentation
- Undertaking FLT duties when required
- Participating in Design / Hazard reviews
Production Operator - Job Requirements
- Previous experience in a production focused role is essential
- An understanding of Chemical processes would be advantageous
- Experienced in the use of FLT's and holding the associated licences
- NVQ Level 2 qualified in Production / Engineering / Chemical
- IOSH qualified would be highly advantageous
- Experience with sampling and product testing would be beneficial
- Based within a commutable distance of Wigan
- Full UK Driving licence
Production Operator - Salary & Benefits
- 18.74 per hour
- Friday - Sunday 18:00 - 06:00
- 23 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays
