As a Gas Heating Engineer, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive heating system maintenance, servicing, and repair services. This includes a mix of wet fitting responsibilities, such as the installation and repair of domestic heating systems, radiator replacements, and valve repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service, repair, and maintain domestic heating systems.
- Conduct installations and repairs of radiators, valves, and other components.
- Ensure compliance with specifications, gas safety regulations, and health and safety standards.
- Complete all relevant paperwork accurately.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through professional service.
- Participate in overtime and on-call work as required.
- Report accidents, near misses, or hazards promptly.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds, or equivalent.
- ACS Certifications: CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, CENWAT.
- Unvented qualifications (desirable but not essential).
- Full UK Driving License.
- Strong understanding of gas legislation and health and safety standards.
- Excellent time management and customer service skills.
- Flexibility to work with a diverse range of customers.
