First Achieve's Engineering Division are hiring for our client, an industry leader in delivering exceptional bridging solutions and services, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Design Engineer to join their growing team. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and execute bridge design projects from conception to completion, ensuring high standards of engineering excellence.
- Develop and review structural designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
- Provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance their skills and professional development.
- Ensure projects are delivered within budget and timelines, with a focus on quality and innovation.
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in bridge design and construction, including hands-on project management experience.
- Expertise in structural analysis and design software, such as AEC RSA, MIDAS, and IDEA StatiCa.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and building codes relevant to bridge construction.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to travel and work on-site as required.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to diverse audiences.
