Job Title: Precast Operative
Location: Precast Factory
Pay: £14 per hour (PAYE)
Hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Precast Operative to join our team in a busy precast factory. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the precast concrete industry and be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings. This role offers consistent work hours, competitive pay, and the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings to assist with production
- Working with concrete molds, reinforcement, and other materials as required
- Ensuring all work meets the factory's quality and safety standards
- Assisting in the production, casting, and finishing of precast concrete products
- Collaborating with the wider team to meet production deadlines
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the precast concrete industry (essential)
- Ability to read and understand mechanical/technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations
- Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
