Your new companyAt Hays Education, we are regularly working with schools which have joint nurseries. These schools are always looking for teaching assistants to work within their nursery classes. We have a school which is currently seeking a long-term teaching assistant to start full-time after half-term and work through until Christmas. The school are looking for an enthusiastic individual who can come in and hit the ground running to provide extra care and support to the children. We are always looking to supply nurseries and schools with Teaching Assistants, and we have recently had an increase in demand for these roles across EYFS and KS1. Your new roleYour new role will see you working Monday to Friday within school hours with children aged 0-5. Your job will be to participate in imaginative play with the children to promote the children's learning and development. You will be implementing a range of exciting, creative activities appropriate for children, to challenge children to promote their development and increase their confidence as independent learners. You should be confident in working with various ability pupils and immersing yourself in daily activities.What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful in securing this position, you must have recent experience working with children. As the nursery is recruiting immediately, it would be ideal if you could jump straight into the role, however, do not let this put you off applying, as we are always receiving new roles. SEN experience would also be desirable in this role, however, it is not essential.What you'll get in returnIn return, you will be paid a highly competitive daily rate and will be working in this successful school where you will become an integral part of a welcoming team of TA's.
