Teaching Assistant Key Responsibilities:

  • Support KS3 and KS4 pupils with a range of SEN and SEMH needs.
  • Work alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual learning requirements.
  • Provide one-to-one and small-group support, helping students overcome barriers to learning.
  • Assist with personal care and social development when required.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that promotes emotional and academic growth.

Teaching Assistant Requirements:

  • Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role with SEN/SEMH pupils is highly desirable.
  • Enthusiastic, patient, and adaptable approach to working with young people.
  • Ability to build trusting relationships with students who may face social or emotional challenges.
