Teaching Assistant

Position: Teaching AssistantLocation: WN3 AreaStart Date: ASAPHours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to FridaySalary: £13.69 to £15.58 per hour

Reeson Education is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary school in the WN3 area. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting young learners in EYFS or KS1.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in assisting the class teacher, delivering engaging learning activities, and supporting pupils with SEND when required.

Key Responsibilities for the Teaching Assistant:

• Provide classroom-based support to EYFS or KS1 pupils.
• Work alongside the class teacher to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
• Support children's social, emotional, and academic development.
• Assist with individual and small-group activities to reinforce learning.
• Offer targeted support to a child with SEND if required.
• Help create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment.

Requirements for the Teaching Assistant:

• Experience working with EYFS or KS1 pupils (desirable but not essential).
• A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.
• Ability to build strong relationships with young children.
• Passion for supporting early childhood development.
• Commitment to a long-term Teaching Assistant role in a mainstream primary school.
