TA - Wigan:

Prospero Teaching are looking for a Level 2 qualified Teaching Assistant to work in a lovely primary school near Wigan. You will be supporting a Year 4 class.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Supporting pupils in small groups or on 1-1 basis
  • Preparing learning resources and activities
  • Building rapport with pupils, parents and staff
  • Communicating with the teacher to track progress

Experience, Training and Qualifications:

  • Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desirable but training can be provided)
  • Level 2 Teaching assistant qualification is desirable but not essential
  • Previous experience working with children with SEN
  • Team Teach Qualification would be highly desirable
