Teaching Assistant

Value Education are working with a Primary School in the Wigan area that are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work within EYFS.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and be committed to helping each child in the most effective way depending on the individual needs.

Teaching Assistant duties:

  • Assisting the Class Teacher in preparing work for the lesson ahead
  • Ensuring the classroom is a tidy and safe environment for the children
  • Assisting with group activities
  • Working with children on a 1:1 and group basis

Teaching Assistant requirements:

  • Previous experience in a school environment
  • Confident in communicating with parents
  • Be able to handle difficult situations efficiently
  • Be inspired to help students learn in new and exciting ways
