Electrical Maintenance Technician – Field Based

MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit an Electrical Maintenance technician to work in a field based / mobile position.
Covering sites across Wigan, Preston and Manchester, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance on electrical assets across energy centres and boiler houses. Our client is a leading business within the Power Generation industry, looking for a mobile technician to join their team.
As the Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Travelling to various sites across north Manchester & south Lancashire
- Carrying out maintenance and repairs across a range of process equipment
- Working as part of a multi-skilled engineering team
- Assisting with project work and major overhauls
- Operating plant where necessary
- Other duties as required
To be considered for this role you should have:
- Proven experience working on electrical equipment including; control panels, PLCs, inverters and three-phase equipment
- Any experience working with high-pressure steam systems is desirable
- A full UK driving licence and the ability to work a field based/mobile role
- Experience carrying out fault finding on industrial plant
- A recognised qualification in Electrical Engineering/18th Edition
- Past experience in a process plant environment
