We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to ensure the smooth operation of manufacturing equipment through maintenance, servicing, and repairs. This role is crucial in minimizing downtime, maintaining a safe work environment, and improving operational efficiency.
This role is ideal for a proactive and hands-on engineer with a strong electrical background and basic mechanical skills. This role is suited to candidates who want a favourable maintenance role, as well as ex-military candidates who are looking to kick start their civilian career. If you have experience with PLCs, Electrical fault finding, and preventative maintenance in a manufacturing or military environment, and enjoy problem-solving while ensuring safety and efficiency, this is the perfect opportunity for you. This role comes with the opportunity to develop into a shift engineer on a very lucrative package.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, service, and repair equipment to ensure production continuity.
- Diagnose faults and carry out preventive and reactive maintenance.
- Work both independently and as part of a team to resolve issues.
- Utilize CMMS (SAP) for maintenance management and reporting.
- Promote and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
