Job Title: Senior Electronics Design Engineer

iO is looking to recruit an experienced Electronics Engineer to work with a leading electronics manufacturer that specializes in the design, development, and production of embedded electronics, offering end-to-end solutions from concept to final product delivery. They emphasize listening to their clients' needs to provide cost-effective solutions and use their expertise to efficiently meet financial and delivery goals, making complex projects more manageable.

Requirements:

  • The ideal applicant will have worked in the automotive, defence, or industrial PCB design fields for at least ten years.
  • Be well-versed in digital, analogue, and radio frequency (RF) devices (such as Bluetooth and Cellular).
  • Altium is favoured.
  • Has an HND, BEng, BSc, or higher degree.

Responsibilities:

  • In charge of overseeing junior hardware and firmware engineers to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery, as well as delivering several PCB and system designs.
  • Design reviews to guarantee that verification modifications are kept to a minimum, and the creation of standard libraries, footprints, and manufacturing components to reduce stock complexity.
