Events & Communications Executive  

Wigan

We are on the hunt for a strong and proactive candidate with a mature work ethic to join a busy marketing team, focusing mostly on the events coordination side!

This role will be working managing internal and external events, including exhibitions, trade shows and much more. These events could be UK or internationally based so experience of organizing and coordinating travel bookings for team members and delivery of stock and goods to destination would be fantastic.

The ideal candidate will be confident in communicating at all levels of a business. You will head up meetings with senior managers, outsourced suppliers such as graphic designers, PR companies and others!

Analytical mindset is important as you will be looking into success of certain events including the revenue generated by new customers secured at events.  

Duties include:

  • Setting up and coordinating internal and external events
  • Organising staff christmas and summer parties, award nights and company update meetings
  • Tracking events metrics and success rates of events
  • Communicating with a variety of different teams internally and externally
  • Booking international travel and hotel bookings
  • Managing event budgets  
  • Managing promotional stock
  • Creating internal communications regarding events, broachers, travel itinerary etc
