NJR Recruitment is excited to partner with a forward-thinking insurance brokerage in the Lancashire area that’s looking for a talented Commercial Account Handler to join their dynamic team.

As a Commercial Account Handler, you’ll take charge of managing renewals and mid-term adjustments across a diverse range of commercial insurance policies, handling your own portfolio of clients. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment where professionalism and attention to detail are key to delivering top-notch service and ensuring clients receive the best coverage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently manage renewals and mid-term adjustments to ensure high client satisfaction and retention.
  • Handle your own book of business and support Account Executives with their client portfolios. Here you will work with a broad range of commercial insurance products.
  • Negotiate with insurers to secure the best rates and coverage for clients.
  • Maintain accurate records on the Acturis system, demonstrating your attention to detail.

What You Need:

  • Proven experience as a Commercial Account Handler with strong knowledge of commercial insurance products.
  • Excellent communication skills, as you’ll be negotiating with insurers and liaising with clients.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with Acturis is a plus, but we can support you in getting up to speed if needed.
