Finance Business Partner - Education | 3 - 6 months + | Remote and flexible Working | Local Government

Castlefield Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a reputable Local Authority to recruit an Interim Finance Business Partner on an initial 3-6 month interim basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join an organisation going through a period of transformation, and will be working remotely.

  • The role will be responsible for playing a key role in a customer-focussed, value adding business partnering team
  • Building influential relationships with key stakeholders across the School’s and Education Service area
  • Demonstrating understanding of School's Finance to facilitate informed decision-making
  • Supporting School’s budget setting and monitoring, and supporting budget managers to deliver their responsibilities
  • Translating complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders and effectively challenge senior managers

The person;

  • CCAB/CIMA qualified, or equivalent with a proven business partnering approach
  • Experience within Local Government Finance, preferably partnering with Education services
  • DSG / APT desirable
